Location and how to find us.
Chiquila is the tiny —and only— town where you can take the ferry to Holbox Island. If you travel by car, you can park your vehicle in one of the parking lots close to the ferry station. They usually charge 100 pesos per day. You can also get to Chiquila by bus, for example, from Cancun or Playa del Carmen. The most comfortable, fastest and easiest way is to book a private transfer which we will be very happy to organize for you: please contact our reservations team to get a quote. (here hyperlink with the email or leading to contact). The ferry operates daily between 06:00 am and 09:30 pm and leaves almost every half an hour. Villas Margaritas Holbox has located approximately 1 km from the Holbox ferry station. The most recommendable way to reach us is by golf car taxi. There is an official taxi point right at the ferry terminal, they usually charge 30 pesos to bring you to us. If you prefer to walk, you can go straight along the main way towards the center, Calle Tiburón Ballena, and turn right when you reach Calle Paseo Kuka. Continue 500 m, turn left and you will find us after 50 m, where the street turns right. Please be aware, there are no signs with street names you can follow. You can also ask for Villas Margaritas.
